Sustec Pro SEVEN is an all new adjustable coilover suspension that features a wide array of all new circuit developed technology that has not been available until now.
SEVEN advances the technologies and greatest strengths of previous high performance Tanabe suspensions like the RR & DD even further. While similar in appearance, the SEVEN is completely different from any suspension currently available. The difference lies within the suspension itself and its highly unique internal construction and slide valve technology.
The new slide valve technology allows a great range of adjustability and function from both sides of the performance spectrum. (comfort to pure competitive motorsports use)
When used with the new TEAS electronic active suspension controller, the wide range of dampening force is accessible through the touch of a button, and is fully programmable to automatically adjust dampening rates according to the speed you drive.
In addition to TEAS, SEVEN is also available as a special "Hard Driving" version, for strictly motorsports use. (see below)

The Slide Valve of the SUSTEC PRO SEVEN allows a massive range of Actual Dampening Force, meaning each dampener setting greatly changes the personality and handling of the vehicle.
Competitor dampeners have a much smaller range of actual dampening force due to limitations of their internal valving design, resulting in unnecessarily large amount of settings within a tiny actual dampening range-- the settings may in reality have little impact on the actual handling dynamics of the vehicle. This results in many suspension kits that are severely limited to one type of driving or motorsport.
Each of SUSTEC PRO SEVEN’S dampener settings have impact and purpose, they are designed purely for function to conquer all types of driving. SEVEN lets the automotive enthusiast enjoy every form of driving sports.

The revolutionary Sustec Pro SEVEN features a wide range of actual dampening force. The all new internal slide valve allows SEVEN to be used for comfort, or pure competition useage.
This shock dynograph tested the actual dampening force of the Sustec Pro SEVEN versus "F Type" 16 setting dampener of a competitor, both applications were for the DC5 chassis.
Although both dampeners feature the same amount (16) dampener settings, the actual speeds and force of compression and rebound greatly vary.
Sustec Pro SEVEN has the true dampening function that proves that the number of dampener settings (8,16,32,64, etc) does not always equal actual performance.

A higher spring rate for motorsports application. Excellent handling, and most importantly, controllable traction is immediately noticeable through the use of the race developed spring. PRO210 was developed for extreme durability and balance. This spring has the highest tensile strength available due to our unique manufacturing process.

Both case length, and preload are adjustable. Preload can be adjusted for special settings, while full suspension stroke can be retained or altered with the case length settings. An extreme range of height settings are available with this suspension to suit any driver's needs or preferences for height and weight distribution. Dampening may be changed in 12 or 16(with TEAS) settings across a wide range of actual dampening force.

The front suspension of a race vehicle experiences the most abuse, therefore a special dual plate stamped steel bracket is used. This bracket is extremely rugged and resists damage where most suspensions fall short. The rear suspension features a high tensile CNC forged aluminum knuckle that is both lightweight and rigid. The ruggedness of the bracketry on this suspension exceeds even OEM vehicle standards.

The oversized Shock Piston is fully reinforced to resist flexing or snapping. The internal valving of the SEVEN is also fully reinforced for the increased and rapidly changing loads experienced during drifting. The internals resist oil and gas 'foaming' and overheating of the internal components which can detract from performance when driving under extreme conditions for extended amounts of time.

|
Constructed of forged aluminum, longetivity and superior strength is ensured. Additionally, the threaded portion of the casing is chemically treated to resist rust and corrosion.

|
Solid mounting pillowball or rubber uppermounts are included on the front and rear of the Sustec Pro SEVEN. These uppermounts also have the added benefit of having front adjustable camber plates for fixing or modifying camber settings beyond factory limitations. Solid pillowball upper mounts prevent suspension geometry changes under various suspension loads.

|
By itself, SEVEN is an extremely solid multi-purpose suspension. With the new TEAS (Tanabe Electric Active Suspension) controller, SEVEN reaches new levels of suspension tuning. Sustec Pro SEVEN is 100% compatible with the TEAS controller and its actuators.
