The next item for testing was the 350Z Y-Pipe upgrade. The Tanabe Y-Pipe includes sections of flex-piping to maintain durability, even if the exhaust system experiences flexing during driving.
Technician Maeda is impressed to the depths of his heart.
Not bad for a a day's worth of testing.

Nissan 350Z HR
The next test on the 350Z HR brought us to the Sustec Stabilizer Bars aka front and rear anti-sway bars.
The rear bar fit just fine...
...and so did the front.
Many people ask whether our bars are solid or hollow. They ARE in fact hollow chromemoly bars. Why hollow? Well, firstly, hollow bars are about half the weight of solid bars. Also, due to the chromemoly construction, the bars are still able to retain the targeted stiffness value. Many people only speak of swaybar diameter. But, we have the actual tension rates. Please call or send us an email if you have any questions about Tanabe Stabilizer Bars.
Technician Maeda is astonished by the high quality construction of the Tanabe Stabilizer Bar and perfect fitment.

Next, it was time to test the new DF210 Springs on the Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0T. Fitment was just right - nice and low, and just enough suspension stroke to allow proper driveability.
After trimming the bump stops, the Genesis was able to gain enough suspension stroke for proper driveability, even at this low height.

Before doing the suspension tests, the Tanabe R&D Team had to take some measurements of the Hyundai Genesis at its stock height.
Above, technician Maeda gets ready to inspect the factory suspension stroke. It's important to always ensure proper stroke when modifying the factory suspension with lowering springs or coilover suspension.
